The Anjou Bleu area is full of surprises. The B&B accommodation is an ideal and friendly way to discover the local activities. You will love going on the river by boat or by kayak. There are several walks, mountain bike trails, open-air activities such as those offered by Anjou Natural Sports of La Jaille Yvon.

Come and discover the different possibilities on offer in the region. More than 400 castles can be visited, less well known than the Loire castles certainly but nevertheless very interesting. There are also cultural and religious architectural sites to be discovered. The region’s industrial heritage is also worth exploring. The “Mine Bleue” is historically important, not to mention the artistic life that has come about in the region. More leisurely visits are also possible: such as the park of La Petite Couère, the Domaine des Rues (restored farm dating back to the 19th century).

Visit the city of Angers with its castle and historical old town. North of Angers, close to La Jaille Yvon, you can visit the new permanent botanical centre: Terra Botanica which opens its doors in spring 2010.
